This course provides current YMCA Swim Lessons Instructors the opportunity to recertify their swim lessons teaching skills. Instructors can expect to learn how to do the following: explore facilitation and teaching tips, implement additional teaching techniques that break down the crucial features of a swimmer's skill progression at any age and stage, demonstrate how to use group based swimming techniques and foster an awareness of safety at all times during swim lessons.
Must be certified currently as a YSL v6 Instructor, BLS, Oxygen and First Aid prior to registration.

Participants must:
- Have CURRENT YMCA Swim Lessons Instructor V6 Certification
- Have CURRENT BLS, FIRST AID and OXYGEN (outside licenses) and up to date in LCDC.
- Be able to swim 4 of the 6 strokes for 25 yards at a Stage 4 Stroke Development level.
