A free life skills and career preparation program for students in grades 7 - 12. YMCA of the Suncoast's Bridging the Achievement Gap (BTAG) is a curriculum-based academic support program that teaches and encourages teens to be themselves as they work towards their bright futures.
The Y's before and after school child care programs are provided for children (preschool through eighth grade) during the hours when there may be no supervision in the home. The program is conducted by trained YMCA staff that serve as positive role models. Our staff will engage with your children in healthy activities that focus on the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The Y does not turn anyone away for the inability to pay. We offer financial assistance for most programs and membership.
