Creating Positive Connections
Connecting people with opportunities is a key component to building stronger communities. We are a nation of immigrants and our diverse backgrounds, perspectives and multiple generations work together it makes our communities stronger.
When newcomers and long-standing citizens don't have opportunities to connect, isolation and intolerance can prevent us from working together to reach our full potential. The Y looks for ways to bring diverse groups of people together through positive connections-- like mutual interests.
