YMCA Relief Care

To serve and strengthen our community, the YMCA of the Suncoast is offering all-day, youth relief care for essential workers at 7 of our branches to help support the children of healthcare and emergency response professionals as well as other essential workers who are playing important roles combating the coronavirus.

Each day starts at 6:30 am and goes until 6pm. Please ensure your child(ren) are dressed in athletic attire, including sneakers. Children should bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle. The number of staff and children present at each shift will be limited to allow social distancing.

Our Y staff will intentionally teach and encourage good hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette and follow strict sick child/staff ratios. For the safety and well-being of others in the program, those who are running a temperature of 100.4+ degrees cannot attend.

Time: 6:30am - 6pm
Cost: $50* for the week
Tentative Dates:  April 6 -10, April 13-17, April 20-24, April 27-May 1

*Starting Monday, March 30th, thanks to our community partner, the Florida Blue Foundation and our generous YMCA members, we are able to reduce our cost per week for this relief care program.
