Family Programs

Character Building Program

Help your child learn valuable character building skills, while meeting other kids and having a great time. They will participate in group games and learning experiences.

Age: Kindergarten - 8th grade
Schedule: Fourth Wednesday of every month, 7:00-8:00 pm
Fee: Free for all facility members

Parent & Child Learning Class

Come join us for some great parent or guardian and child time. You and your child will participate in interactive games and songs, as well as crafts and other fun and funky learning experiences.

Age: 4 and under

Schedule: Third Thursday of every month, 10:00 am

Fee: Free for all facility members

Parents Night Out

Age: 4 – 10
Fee: Facility Members $15; Program Members $20
Schedule: fourth Friday of each month, 6:00-10:00 pm

Veteran's Luncheon

Veteran's luncheon are held September - May on the second Tuesday of each month. .

Kids Zone

The YMCA of the Suncoast - Clearwater Branch offers a caring, friendly environment for your children while you workout. Members may sign their child into the Kids Zone at no cost. The Kids Zone is full of fun activities: scheduled story/craft time, outside play, special projects and crafts, scheduled parents’ night out each month. Games, toys and books are always available for the children during their visit to the Kids Zone.

Fit4AllKids

Age: 8-12 (other ages may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

This is an 8-week program, sponsored by All Children's Hospital in cooperation with the Clearwater Branch YMCA, encouraging children to do their personal best and reach their own goals for weight loss, weight management and physical activity.

As a part of this program, the Clearwater Branch will provide memberships to Fit4AllKids participants and their families free of charge during the program. Each week, YMCA staff will lead participants through a wide range of fun, low-impact fitness activities while supporting them on their way to a healthier lifestyle.

In addition, members of the All Children's staff will guide discussions on topics such as body image, motivation, restaurant etiquette, stress management and other psychosocial behaviors associated with proper nutrition.
